About Me.

Well hey there, My name’s Mikayla, also known as Mik, or Meeks. But you can call me whatever nick name you prefer because calling someone by a nick name means you’re their friend, and I want to be yours! I’m a coffee drinker, hot sauce connoisseur, and cookie monster. I love a good belly laugh and living life in authentic community.

I am passionate about The Kingdom of God. I believe His Kingdom is a place where all nations are celebrated and act as windows- giving us glimpses into The Father’s heart. I believe it’s a place where the oppressed are healed and given a crown of royalty as children of The King. And I believe it’s a place where children are seen as precious, protected, and important.  

I feel called to be a part of encouraging the next generation to be vibrant set apart followers of Jesus, unable to be shaken by the winds of this world. I do this by asking questions, making memories, teaching the way of Jesus, and giving children opportunities to find their God given passions.

My Adventurous Pursuit.

For many years now my life has been centered around pursuit. The intimate pursuit of Jesus. The joyful pursuit of the loving the person in front of me. And realizing that every step of the way I’ve been being pursued gently yet fiercely by my Father. From the desert of California to the Sierra Nevada mountains, to the Midwest, and now Mae Sot Thailand, I’ve come to believe that living life hand in hand with The Father is an adventurous pursuit.
